Tom Slick: Visionary!

Peer inside the brilliant, creative mind of a man who created five scientific research foundations, developed new species of cattle and grasses, discovered major oil fields, loved several beautiful women, searched for the Yeti, wrote two books on world peace, and assembled an extraordinary modern art collection—all before he died at age 46.

Author Catherine Nixon Cooke shares highlights and historic photographs from her biography about her uncle Tom Slick (Tom Slick: Mystery Hunter; Paraview Press, 2005).

This is one of several upcoming events sponsored by the McNay Art Museum as part of the exhibit, Tom Slick: International Art Collector.

Catherine Nixon Cooke is a Board Member and former Executive Director of the Mind Science Foundation. We hope you enjoy her unique perspective on Tom Slick!
