What if we could peer inside the mind of a 20th century "mystery hunter"? How did he learn to harness his intuition, to celebrate his curiosity, to dare to explore the unknown? Join us as former MSF Executive Director, and current MSF Board member, Catherine Nixon Cooke, takes us on an exciting adventure in the company of her uncle, legendary explorer and MSF founder, Tom Slick.

Catherine Nixon Cooke is an author and consultant, with more than 20 years of non-profit management experience. She is the former Director of the San Antonio River Foundation; former president and CEO of The Mountain Institute in Washington, D.C.; former Executive Director of the Mind Science Foundation; and former editor-in-chief of Coronet Magazine. She has published articles for numerous magazines and newspapers, and several biographies including Tom Slick Mystery Hunter (Paraview Press, 2005) about the legendary founder of the Mind Science Foundation. She is an elected Fellow of The Explorers Club, and serves on the boards of the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, the San Antonio Medical Foundation, the Center for Medical Humanities and Ethics, the San Antonio River Foundation, and the World Affairs Council.
