and he is the President of the Georgia Winegrowers Association. His special
interests are touring wine regions and fishing.

Paul Ingmundson is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders. He first became interested in sleep, dreaming, and the science of consciousness while pursuing his graduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He stays busy in professional practice, research, and teaching. He is active in a number of professional societies and organizations, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Fellow of the Bexar County Psychological Association, and Treasurer of the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. He first joined the Board of Trustees of the Mind Science Foundation in 2003.

Dick Gill is a native San Antonian with a background in successfully starting and managing companies ranging in size from startups to larger organizations. His strong technical and scientific educational background combined with a love of learning results in the ability to quickly learn a business and achieve results. He is the author of The Great Maya Droughts: Water, Life, and Death (2005, University of New Mexico Press), which was also translated into Spanish. A one-hour documentary about Mr. Gill and his archaeological accomplishments was produced by the BBC in 2001. He is fluent in Spanish and French.

Catherine Nixon Cooke

Catherine Nixon Cooke is an author and consultant, with more than 20 years of non-profit management experience. She is the former Director of the San Antonio River Foundation (2007-2008); former president and CEO of The Mountain Institute in Washington, D.C. (2001-2005); former Executive Director of the Mind Science Foundation (1983-1998); and former editor-in-chief of Coronet Magazine (1970s). She has published articles for numerous magazines and newspapers, and several biographies including Tom Slick Mystery Hunter (Paraview Press, 2005) about the legendary founder of the Mind Science Foundation. She is an elected Fellow of The Explorers Club, and serves on the boards of the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, the San Antonio Medical Foundation, the Center for Medical Humanities and Ethics, the San Antonio River Foundation, and the World Affairs Council.

Ms. Costello's international affairs career spans over 30 years in global education, protocol, trade and investment. During her four year tenure as MSF's Executive Director (1998-2002), Ms. Costello continued the enriching speaker programs and events developed throughout Catherine Cooke's 15 year leadership at MSF. In conjunction with MSF Board Member Robert Sohn, she instituted an enduring strategic plan that founded and funded the Tom Slick Research Awards in Consciousness, acknowledging emerging consciousness professionals since 2004.

Michele Krier
Michele Krier is a San Antonio-based public relations specialist with more than 20 years experience serving as the media relations specialist for Dublin & Associates public relations firm before joining Creative Civilization as director of public relations. She also held the public relations manager position at VIA Metropolitan Transit and, in that role, worked with the community, civic and city officials, government agencies and media on a range of issues from consumer topics to state legislation. Michele earned her Masters in Communications from the University of the Incarnate Word, where she was public relations director for four years. She wrote more than 100 articles for San Antonio Business magazine, and served for four years as business editor and four years as Public Relations Manager for the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Presently, Michele serves on the boards of the San Antonio Library Foundation, Mind Science Foundation and Arts San Antonio.
Barbara Ras
Poet Barbara Ras is recent recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the author of Bite Every Sorrow, which won the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets and the Kate Tufts Discovery Award. She has also published Costa Rica: A Traveler's Literary Companion, a collection of Costa Rican short fiction in translation. Her next book, One Hidden Stuff, is due out from Penguin in fall 2006. She lives in San Antonio, where she is the director of Trinity University Press.
